The African Chiropractic Federation is a non-profit organization of national associations of chiropractors from the African Region.
ACF Mission Statement
It is the commitment of the ACF to further the Chiropractic profession in Africa. Our purpose is to increase awareness, provision and utilization of chiropractic on the African continent and to support Chiropractor’s in this endeavour. The ACF will achieve this through applying the following principles:
Principles:
- To respect all Chiropractor’s in Africa regardless of individual philosophies and without judgement. It is our intention to be inclusive and supportive to all and create a unified Chiropractic profession in Africa.
- We are committed to expanding the provision of chiropractic services across the continent.
- To support organisations and individuals providing affordable and accessible services to vulnerable communities.
- We wish to create opportunities for chiropractic services in an African setting
- We support and promote research that aids in the development of a deeper understanding for Chiropractic care and its improved patient outcomes particularly in an African environment.
- We encourage Chiropractors within Africa to educate populations about health and wellbeing and the role of chiropractic in such.
- To aid and support African chiropractic students financially or otherwise
- We aim to support and aid, wherever possible, individual countries in their efforts to become regulated and legislated and to further Chiropractic education on the African continent.
We envision to grow the chiropractic profession in every aspect (number of practitioners, utilization of services, education, and research) on the African continent so that practitioners have their needs of recognition and regulation met and the public has access to affordable chiropractic services.
